Dr Dirk studied medicine at the University of Stellenbosch and graduated class of 1984.
He completed specialisation in Anaesthesia at the University of Stellenbosch in 1994.
Over the next decade he acquired extensive local as well as international work experience in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
Dr Dirk joined our practice in 2007 and has a special interest in anaesthesia for cardiac electrophysiology, abdominal laparoscopic surgery as well as bariatric surgery.
He enjoys kayaking, travelling and building.
