Dr Louis studied medicine at the University of Stellenbosch and graduated class of 1998.
He completed his Diploma in Anaesthesia in 2000 and then completed specialisation in Anaesthesia at the University of Cape Town in 2007.
Dr Louis joined our practice in 2007 and has a keen interest in regional anaesthesia for hand surgery, obstetrics, ENT and orthopaedic surgery. He also enjoys anaesthesia for cardiothoracic surgery and cardiac electrophysiology having completed training in basic transoesphageal echocardiography.
In his spare time he enjoys photography, mountain biking and CrossFit™. He is also busy attaining his private pilot’s license in his spare time.
