Dr Kim grew up in Johannesburg, where he studied Medicine at University of Witwatersrand and graduated class of 2014.
He completed his Diploma in Anaesthesia in 2018 and gained further experience while exploring different parts of South Africa such as Worcester, Klerksdorp and George.
He completed his specialist training in Anaesthesia at University of Cape Town in 2025 and joined Atlantic Anaesthesia 2026.
Dr Kim enjoys all aspects of anaesthesia ranging from anaesthesia for general surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, obstetrics & gynaecology and day case surgeries. He has keen interest in use of ultrasound – from vascular access, regional anaesthesia and transthoracic echocardiography.
